PARTICIPANT REGULATIONS FUNDASHON WEGA DI NUMBER BONAIRE
Article 1: Applicability
These participation regulations apply to all persons who participate in one or more lotteries offered by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire (hereinafter referred to as participants).
Article 2: Game formats
2.1. Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire can organize the following lotteries:
- Wega di Number Bonaire
- Wega di Number Kòrsou
- Zodiac
2.2. The “Wega di Number Bonaire” game of chance is a form of a game in which a participant can bet an amount on one or more number combinations. There are four-digit serial numbers (0000-9999), three-digit serial numbers (000-999), and two-digit serial numbers (00-99).
2.3. The “Wega di Number Kòrsou” game of chance is a form of a game in which a participant can bet an amount on one or more number combinations. There are four-digit serial numbers (0000-9999), three-digit serial numbers (000-999), and two-digit serial numbers (00-99).
2.4. The “Zodiac” game of chance is a form of a game in which a participant can bet an amount on four-digit serial numbers (0000-9999) in combination with a zodiac sign.
Article 3: Participation
3.13.1. Depending on the chosen game form, participants can participate in the lotteries offered by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire:
- A. By purchasing one or more participation tickets at the official points of sale.
3.2. Participation in a lottery organized by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire takes place exclusively based on the data in the registration and administration systems used by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire for that lottery.
Article 4: Purchase participation tickets at official points of sale
4.1. Participation tickets are purchased at the official sales points designated by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire.
4.2. After full payment, a participation ticket is issued to the participant at the point of sale. Participation is with the lottery numbers stated on the entry ticket.
4.3. It is not allowed to divide the amount that one wants to spend on a number combination among different participation tickets to evade tax.
4.4. It is up to the participant to check whether all number combinations, that are selected by the participant, are correct.
4.5. A ticket will only be removed from the system if it has not been printed clearly, has become defective in the printer, has been torn incorrectly (miscut), or has not been printed.
4.6. When spending US$400, the seller conducts a customer due diligence. This includes identifying and verifying the identity, visiting frequency, spending pattern, and amount of certain winnings by the buyer.
4.7. If the proof of identity is refused, the transaction will not be carried out.
4.8. The rules of the game are on the back of the entry ticket.
Article 5: Minimum age
5.1. Minors are not allowed as participants in the lotteries organized by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire.
5.2. When a minor wins a prize in a lottery organized by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire, this prize will not be paid out.
5.3. Minors are not allowed in the points of sale.
5.4. Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire takes appropriate measures to prevent participation by minors.
Article 6: Minimum and maximum games of chance
6.1. The minimum and maximum bet for Wega di Number Bonaire and Wega di Number Korsou organized by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire is:
- A number combination of four digits, minimum US$ 0.25 and maximum US$ 25.00
- A number combination of three digits, minimum US$ 0.25 and maximum US$ 94.00
- A two-digit number combination, minimum US$ 0.25 and maximum US$ 452.00
6.2. The minimum bet for Zodiac organized by Fundashon Wega di Number is US$ 1.50 and the maximum bet is US$ 15.
Article 7: Prize package
7.1. Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire has a fixed prize package for Wega di Number Bonaire, Wega di Number Kòrsou and Zodiac.
7.2. Prizes so far only consist of cash prizes.
7.3. The prizes depend on the maximum bet.
Article 8: The drawing of the winning combinations
8.1. The drawing of the winning lottery numbers of Wega di Number Bonaire takes place in public via television company Nos TV from Monday to Saturday at 8.15 am and on Sunday at 3 pm.
8.2. The Zodiac draw takes place every Sunday at 3.10 pm via Nos TV.
8.3. For Wega di Number Kòrsou the drawing of Fundashon Wega di Number Kòrsou is used. The Wega di Number Kòrsou draw takes place in public via the television company Tele Curaçao from Monday to Saturday at 9 pm and Sunday at 5:30 pm.
8.4. The Wega di Number Bonaire draw is supervised by the Supervision and Enforcement Department, Projects and Task Forces department and a representative of Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire.
8.5. The draw balls are calibrated annually by the Supervision & Enforcement Department, Spatial Development and Calibration Department.
8.6. Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire is entitled to postpone or cancel a draw if, in its opinion, the proper course of that draw is in danger of being jeopardized. The decision will be published as soon as possible on the television company Nos TV and on the radios, stating the new date of the draw.
Article 9: Announcement of the winning combinations
9.1. Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire will publish the winning lottery numbers of each lottery within one hour after the draw on the website applicable to the product, namely www.bonairelottery.com and WhatsApp FWNB.
Article 10: Method of payment of prizes
10.1. The payment of cash prizes takes place after deduction of 10% gambling tax.
10.2. Amounts won up to US$1,000 will be paid out in cash at the points of sale upon presentation of a valid entry ticket.
10.3. Amounts won above US$1,000 will be paid out by check or by transfer to the bank account of the provider of the winning entry at the office Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire, Kaya Italia # 3.
10.4. Upon presentation of a valid entry ticket and proof of identity. Valid identity documents are: identification card, passport or driver’s license.
10.5. A valid identity document for a foreigner is the passport.
10.6. No payments can be made to the name and account number of a person other than the provider of the participation ticket.
Article 11: Expiration of the right to payment of prizes
11.1. The right to payment of a prize expires one month after the date of sale stated on the participation ticket.
11.2. No payment will be made under any circumstances or in the event of lost participation tickets.
11.3. Payment of damaged participation tickets can take place after investigation and approval by Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire.
Article 12: Refuse to pay out prizes
Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire has justified doubts about the right of the provider of the participation ticket to dispose of the participation ticket and/or the prize.
12.2. Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire reserves this right in any case during an investigation into the validity of those doubts.
Article 13: Liability
13.1. The risk of loss or loss of participation tickets after they have come into the possession of the participant rests with the participant.
