How the lottery money gets back to the community

In 1992 the Government established Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire (Bonaire Lottery) with the mission maximizing revenues to support our community by providing lottery games. Supporting our community through sport, education, culture and charities.   

The vision of Fundashon Wega di Number Bonaire is keep contributes to the development of our children and the community in general.

Since 1992, lottery players have contributed  to help sport, education, culture and charities institutions/organizations. Yearly more than 50 organization were eligible for a support. But none of this would be possible without our players. We are proud of the contributions we make to our community. We work hard to increase our funding through efficient business practices to keep supporting our community.

HOW TO APPLY

Fundashon Wega Di Number Bonaire (Bonaire Lottery) was founded in 1992 with the main objective of the acquisition of funds by organizing gambling on Bonaire. By means of active fundraising and income from lotteries we are able to support many projects of general social interest annually.

If you are an institutions or organization in the field of sport, culture that pursue educational objective or charitable goals you can apply for a donation. The request must be submitted to the Foundation in writing well 6 weeks prior to the start of the project. Together with a fully completed application form. Only complete applications, provided with the required annexes and signed by authorized persons, are taken into consideration.

An elaborate plan or project, the objectives of the plan or project must be indicated specifically. A copy of the Articles of Association or regulations

A budget of revenue and expenditure of the project with accompanying notes

An official invitation if relevant for the request

Only the request that fit within the guidelines of our Donation Policy are eligible for a donation.

If your request is not honored by us you will receive a letter of rejection. If your request is honored, you will receive information about the course and the conditions under which a contribution can be provided.
